For starters, commissions can be requested in a number of formats and media. They can be portraits (humans or pets), murals, 3-D canvases (ECT3D), traditional landscapes/seascapes and even special interest works such as book illustrations and caricatures. Pricing for these requests, however, may range widely depending on size, media, complexity, and timeline so it’s always best to contact us directly to confirm.
That being said, let’s cut to the chase with the main question asked of an artist doing commissions…
HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
To which, I’ve tried to simplify by asking in return…
HOW MUCH ARE YOU LOOKING TO SPEND?
I’ve grouped some of the most common requests, materials and sizes into price brackets for easy reference. This doesn’t mean I can’t or won’t do other types and sizes of commissions that aren’t listed here, it’s just to help the customer quickly decide what’s best for their particular situation and interests. Again, you can always call us directly to discuss specifics of your requests and gather more info on pricing.
Here’s what you can get for each price bracket:
Up to 16 x 20
Up to 11 x 14

24 x 36
